The driving test in Qatar

To get your driving license, you will have to pass the following test:

Preliminary test: You will be asked to identify road and traffic signs. The book of road and traffic signs is available from the driving schools.

Straight parking

Road test: If you pass your theory and parking tests, your examiner will take you out of the testing grounds on to the road to test your proficiency.

You may also be asked to hill-start before living the grounds.

Once you have passed your driving test, your driving license will be issued while you wait. The license will cost you QR250 and is valid for 5 years.
